Tap One is a Solo Leveling ranking game with a slot machine twist. Nine categories spin at once, each landing on one random character, and you have to decide which category to lock in with the character it is showing. Every category has a hidden ranking, and the higher your locked character sits in it, the more points you score.

The categories cover both the cast and their qualities: S-Rank Hunters, A-Rank Entities, Monsters and Demons, The Shadow Army, Fighter Class, Guild Masters, Physical Strength, Speed and Agility, and Battle IQ and Tactics. A perfect run means locking the top-ranked character in all nine, which is as rare as an E-Rank hunter clearing an S-Rank gate.

How to Play Tap One

At the start of each round the cards spin for a couple of seconds, then every unlocked category reveals one candidate. Tap one category to lock it with the character currently shown. That pick is final. The remaining categories spin again and show new candidates, and you repeat until all nine are locked.

Each category ranks eight characters. Locking the top one scores 100 points, second place 80, then 65, 50, 35, 20 and 10, and the last place scores nothing. The maximum is 900 points. The ranking is checked on the server when you finish, so the order is never visible in the game itself.

Your total earns a rank, from False Awakening through E-Rank, D-Rank, C-Rank, B-Rank, A-Rank and S-Rank Hunter up to National Level at 790 points and Shadow Monarch at 870. Your best rank is saved, and you can play five runs per day.

Tap One Strategy

The whole game is about timing. Early on you have nine categories and plenty of spins left, so you can afford to lock only when a category shows a clearly elite pick, like a Monarch-level being in Physical Strength. As categories run out, you get fewer chances to wait, and on the final spin you must take whatever the last category shows.

Think about how deep each category is. In a category like Guild Masters the difference between first and fourth may be small in your head but large in points. Categories where you are confident of the order are the ones to lock early when a top candidate appears; categories you are unsure about are better left for later.

Do not lock a weak card just because the category worries you. A mid-table pick of 50 points is fine, but locking a bottom-ranked character in round two throws away the chance of a better spin later. Keep your standards high until only three or four categories remain.
